Age and Turnout

Here's a great graph posted on Pollster.com by Charles Franklin. As you can see, it portrays the traditional relationship between age and turnout in 2000, 2004, and 2008. Given all of the chatter about increased mobilization of the youth vote in 2008, how well does this picture support the conventional wisdom?
